Would you like to make a positive impact in our community? Do you enjoy being outdoors? Do you love nature? If so, volunteering with the Kimberley Nature Park Society (KNPS) might be a great fit for you!
No experience with KNPS? No problem. We'll provide all the information and support you need to help you get started and make a meaningful contribution.
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
Horse Barn Valley Trail Improvements – July
Do you enjoy working with tools and getting your hands dirty? We're looking for volunteers to help with trail and boardwalk improvements in Horse Barn Valley. You'll be helping maintain and enhance one of Kimberley's most popular trail networks.
Wildlife Camera Monitoring
Do you enjoy photography and wildlife? We're looking for a volunteer to help manage our wildlife cameras throughout the Nature Park. Some experience with cameras is helpful, but the most important qualities are a passion for wildlife and a commitment to help us better understand and protect the animals that call the Nature Park home.
Kimberley Farmers' Market – Thursdays Throughout the Summer
Join us at our information table at the Farmers' Market. Volunteers help welcome visitors, sign up new members, and sell KNPS promotional items. We attend several Thursday markets throughout the summer, so let us know which dates work for you.
KNPS Movie Night at Centre 64 – Fall 2026
Our movie nights are always well attended and a lot of fun. We're looking for volunteers to help with setup, ticket sales, concessions, and merchandise sales. It's a great way to support the Society while enjoying a community event.
