KIMBERLEY NATURE PARK WALKS
THE ART OF SEEING THE FOREST
Join us as we explore the Kimberley Nature Park as a living community. Trees, shrubs, birds, fungi, insects, creeks, mountains - everything is connected. Every living thing has evolved alongside the others, shaping and being shaped by an ever-changing environment.
This walk is about slowing down, observing, and discovering the hidden relationships that make the forest work. Once you begin to see these connections, you'll never look at nature the same way again.

When: Sunday, July 19th, 10am - noon.
Location: Meet at the Campground Entrance of the
Kimberley Nature Park.
Who can join: For all ages. No dogs permitted.
Fee: Free for members. Non-members by donation.
Guide: Birgitta Jansen
Birgitta is a former volunteer U.S. National Park ranger and longtime advocate for environmental stewardship. Passionate about helping people reconnect with the living world around them, she created the Gateway to Nature hikes in the early 2010s - guided walks in the Kimberley Nature Park that encourage participants to see the forest as a living, interconnected community. Birgitta is also the author of The Sunflower Hill Chronicles, reflecting her enduring love for nature.
