Hike for Young Families 2017

We had a great little guided event on Sunday, led by retired elementary school teacher, Sherrin Perrouault. It normally takes about half an hour to hike up and around Eimer's Lake but if you have a bunch of rambunctious kids and toddlers it can easily last for hours. And there is lots to learn about ponds, and trees and bugs and flowers and, well.... everything. Have a look at some of our pictures, beautifully captured by Jeanne Watson, and you might want to join in next year.

The gang at Eimer's Lake

Yes, there is a bridge, but this way is more fun!

Some pretty neat stuff out here, if you look closely.

Lots to see at the pond!

Yippee! I found some mud!
